Phenalkamine
Bisphenol A solid epoxy resins are an organic compound used predominantly in the production of products made of polycarbonate plastic and epoxy resins.
Applications
- Coatings
- Civil engineering
- Adhesives
- Electrical insulating material
- Reactive intermediates.
Phenalkamine is the name given to certain semi -synthetic hardeners for epoxy resins that harden quickly, low temperature cure (even below 0°C), good chemical resistance, good surface appearance, good moisture tolerance, and non-blushing properties. phenalkamines also have very good pot life, good flexibility, surface tolerance, and excellent water and salt water resistance.
Phenalkamine Technology
phenalkamide technology is a new category of epoxy curing agent that fills a gap between polyamide and phenalkamine technologies.
By chemically combining the two technologies, phenalkamide curing agents offer the benefits of both while mitigating their limitations.
The end result is a series of surface tolerant, fast and low temperature curing, light colored epoxy curing agents with excellent anti-corrosion properties, good color stability, and extended over coatability.

Standard Solid Epoxy Resin
The most common epoxy resins are based on reacting Epichlorohydrin (ECH) with bisphenol A, resulting in a different chemical substance known as bisphenol A di glycidyl ether (commonly known as BADGE or DGEBA) Increasing the ratio of bisphenol A to Epichlorohydrin during manufacture produces higher molecular weight linear polyether with glycidyl end groups, which are semi-solid to hard crystalline materials at room temperature depending on the molecular weight achieved.

Unsaturated Polyester Resin
Polyester is a category of polymers that contain the ester functional group in every repeat unit of their main chain. Depending on the chemical structure, polyester can be a thermoplastic or thermoset. There are also polyester resins cured by hardeners; however, the most common polyesters are thermoplastics.
Applications
