Phenalkamine

Bisphenol A solid epoxy resins are an organic compound used predominantly in the production of products made of polycarbonate plastic and epoxy resins.

Applications

  • Coatings
  • Civil engineering
  • Adhesives
  • Electrical insulating material
  • Reactive intermediates.

Product Description

Phenalkamine is the name given to certain semi -synthetic hardeners for epoxy resins that harden quickly, low temperature cure (even below 0°C), good chemical resistance, good surface appearance, good moisture tolerance, and non-blushing properties. phenalkamines also have very good pot life, good flexibility, surface tolerance, and excellent water and salt water resistance.

Phenalkamine Technology

phenalkamide technology is a new category of epoxy curing agent that fills a gap between polyamide and phenalkamine technologies. By chemically combining the two technologies, phenalkamide curing agents offer the benefits of both while mitigating their limitations. The end result is a series of surface tolerant, fast and low temperature curing, light colored epoxy curing agents with excellent anti-corrosion properties, good color stability, and extended over coatability.
